Thrill of the Grill Festival Weekend

Deerhurst Resort's first Thrill of the Grill Festival Weekend will take place July 3rd to 5th. Thrill of the Grill highlights include: Brew BBQ: With chef and cookbook author Brian Morin from Toronto's popular King Street East eatery Beer Bistro and Alberta's Big Rock artisan brewing company; Meat Camp: A workshop and tasting on the ins and outs of buying the best beef for your grilling needs, including what that rating system with all those As really means, by Carrie Oliver's Artisan Beef Institute; Bone Up: Danielle Dimovski's must-do Rib Class covering all the essentials for this finger-licking favourite, buying, prepping, rubbing, saucing, foiling and meat science, what happens when that meat hits the grill?; Rainford, Rob Rainford: During an interactive dinner and wine pairing session Saturday this master of the tongs and spatula reviews how to spice things up with popular ethnic flavours and answers all your most burning barbecue questions. Deerhurst's Thrill of the Grill package including two night's accommodation; Friday night's welcome reception and beer tasting; Saturday breakfast; marketplace with sampling; all workshops; the Rob Rainford demonstration dinner with wine pairings, silent auction, plus entertainment and dancing with the Dream Team band; and Sunday brunch runs from $399 per person based on double occupancy.
