With live entertainment by the very funny Glen Foster and a captivating Awards Presentation, you will leave the theatre feeling upbeat and proud of your business community!

The 2009 Bell Huntsville/Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards recipients will be announced at the Gala Awards ceremony to be held at the Algonquin Theatre on Thursday, March 26, 2009.  This is an event you do not want to miss!

Attendees will enjoy the TVCogeco Red Carpet reception, the 3 Guys and a stove Cocktail Party in Partners Hall, an extravagant awards ceremony hosted by Huntsville's own Grant Nickalls and James Carroll, followed by some great laughs from That Canadian Guy' comedian Glen Foster. Glen Foster has been a headliner on the Canadian comedy circuit for over fifteen years.  His unique blend of clever, observational humour, and his ability to entertain a wide variety of audiences have also made him a favorite at company parties, sales conferences, golf tournaments and other corporate functions.  Glen recently starred in his own Comedy Network Special, "That Canadian Guy" and has appeared on numerous other television shows.  A former advertising ‘creative guy', Glen typifies the middle-ages, middle-class, middle management guy who's struggling desperately to keep pace with an ever-changing world.  Glen's act is not just a string of one-lines, but an intricate, interwoven pattern of humorous and often thought-provoking ideas and observations.  He's topical, political, and occasionally even ‘politically incorrect'.  Most of all though, he's just very, very funny. Gala tickets are $45 plus g.s.t. and are available at the Algonquin Theatre box office by calling 705-789-4975 or online at http://www.algonquintheatre.ca/.
